Rhodes Town
Rhodes town is full of life all year round and is only 25km from Kolymbia. The city is famous for its medieval . Visit the Palace of the Knights of St. John, the medieval moat and the narrow streets. Take a walk in the evening and experience the nightlife there. The old town is full of shops, restaurants, tavernas and coffee shops. Enjoy the laid back lifestyle and don’t forget to walk along the harbor, it’s a must for everyone.

Petaloudes - Valley of the Butterflies
The valley of the butterflies is a short drive from Kolymbia, lush with green vegetation. It is the streams, the pond, the trees and the narrow bridges that make this an idyllic place for the butterflies to gather and multiply. The valley is full of butterflies during the months of July and August and is absolutely worth a visit. If you follow the path all the way to the top you reach an old monastery from 1782 and the view from there is breathtaking.

Seven Springs
This is a true oasis that you wouldn’t expect to see on an island that has no rain fall during the entire summer. You can actually count one by one the seven springs that the place has taken its name from and if you are a thrill seeker, and brave enough, take a walk trough a tunnel long. Follow the water bare foot to its destination which is a small pond in the forest, an exciting experience that is only a 30 minute walk from Kolymbia.

Tsampika
Only a 5 minute drive from Kolymbia you can visit one of most notorious beaches. Tsambika beach is long with white sand. Many small tavernas and canteens are built right on the sandy beach. If you are fit enough take the 300 steps that lead up to the top of the of hill. Enjoy the panoramic view and don’t forget to take your camera with you. The well known Byzantine monastery of Tsambika is dedicated to Virgin Mary.
The of is very long with crystal clear waters. A small bay is situated nearby the housing project, surrounded by hills and mountains. There is also a small harbor and fish tavernas that are famous for their fresh sea food and Greek specialties.

Afandou
The modern 18 hole golf course is situated only 5 minutes from Kolymbia. It is open all year round and attracts visitors as well as locals. Afandou beach is one of the longest beaches on the island and is only a few feet away from the golf course which makes it very tempting to go for a swim after a round of golf.

Lindos
Lindos is the most popular place to visit. For everyone that comes to the island it is a must. Known for the Acropolis and its white houses, it is the perfect place to spend the day and it is located only south of Kolymbia.

Faliraki
Faliraki is the playground of the island. This resort is known for its long sandy beach with a lot of water sport activities. In Faliraki there is a big water park, an amusement park as well as restaurants, bars and nightclubs with many big hotels. Faliraki has everything for the young and the old.
